Here is something to think about. I am thinking that we could save ourselves some ink and money by encouraging the Modern Language Association (MLA) to change its required font to Garamond too. Thoughts?

I think this is a great idea, as saving resources is always important. The font is just as clear as Times New Roman, if it can produce less waste why wouldn't we use it? However I do have two questions: first, who specifically saves money from the new font? Second, it may be hard to remember the new font, so would word doc. programs change the default font to Garamond?

I think that what he is doing is a great idea to save resources. Garamond is the most cost eficient so I believe that we should all do what the kid was talking about. I cant find any reasons not to use this new idea and apply it to or school assignments etc.

I think using Garamont instead of Times New Roman is a great idea. Personally I can barley tell the deference between the two. I think it's a bright yet simple idea. It's also useful considering we print things on a daily bases. In my opinion everyone should at least give it a shot.
