It's true that presidential inaugurations happen every four years. What is less often true is that actions following that event rarely take the form demonstrated globally on January 21, 2017. Therefore, historically speaking, these are worth noting. Also of interest is the work of "crowd science" and the people who calculate and estimate how many people show up at any given place and time.

I think that this post of these different civilization cultures coming together about something thought to have been contained in one country shows how much of our (The US) culture affects the world, aside from the enormous ego our country beholds this is something that truly is astonishing.

This post is really quite inspiring and uplifting. Even though some are still in shock from the outcome of this years election, people are staying strong, and standing up for what they believe in. Some may argue that this election has pulled us apart from one another, but I think it has brought us closer together if anything. People from not only our country but globally, have come together in large groups to protest and to speak out. This election has not just effected us here in the United States, but has reached far beyond our nations boundaries and is uniting the globe in the most unexpected way.
