Comment on your new year so far, and all the new possibilities out there for us to set our eyes, hopes, and dreams upon!
I did not get a chance to post in January (what happened to THAT month?) but here are the two links I shared with you connected to Kevin Olusola's Celloboxing version of Auld Lang Syne and it's all about the VORTEX (no rotation!). Comment on your new year so far, and all the new possibilities out there for us to set our eyes, hopes, and dreams upon! Here is one more link to a video that I am just adding because it has a longer and more complete version of Auld Lang Syne with both Scottish and English lyrics, as written by Robert Burns, the Scottish poet. It's quite a lovely version.

Watch and comment. What's the message, and what should we do about it? The grading period is ending, and I have meant to post a few different links to sites and/or topics here. This one is interesting on a few different levels, corporate ethics in a court of law being one of them. It is also connected to the post made earlier on this page (3/28/14) regarding Garamond vs. Times New Roman. Guess the BP people could have padded their paper that way as well. Comments?
I know this is a joke, since it comes from The Daily Currant, a satirical news website, but I am thinking that people should re-consider the ice bucket craze in light of our current drought and water crisis. There is humor here, however, embedded in the seriousness of the issue. What do you think?
