At about 2:00 am (EDT) on April 15, which is about 11 pm April 14th for us West Coast earthly inhabitants, we will see the first of four total lunar eclipses on the nights of the full moons in April and October, 2014, and in April and September, 2015. Learn more about it here.

How interesting that the eclipse would not be seen on the east coast, it was true too! On April 14th and 15th I was in New Orleans for a band trip and never saw anything out of the ordinary in the night sky.
